Triggered by the symbols, we did further research on the fig and we were obsessed by the similarities it shares with our brand views.
The first mention of a fig leaf to cover nudity is in the Book of Genesis, well into the later fourth century, where fig leaves were bound directly to the story of the Garden of Eden.
From the famous fig leaf that is connected directly to Queen Victoria; Romulus and Remus, the founders of ancient Rome, suckled by a she-wolf under a fig tree, through Michelangelo’s “David” given to the Queen by the Grand Duke of Tuscany where the fruit is a precious detail, fig tree and fruits were always surrounded by mysticism, mystery, and magic.
